Company founder Dave Ito has been in business for nearly 30 years, 20 of them here in Colorado Springs. After a brief commercial lending career, he worked for a remodeling contractor performing a wide variety of work in both residential and commercial settings. Soon after Dave started his own remodeling business doing interior remodels at first; then adding decks, porches, and additions to his offerings; and eventually moving on to single and multifamily new construction. His early hands on experience with the sticks and bricks gave him an understanding and appreciation of how to see a project through completion quickly, safely, and economically with high quality and good value for his customers. As a general contractor these days, our focus is on design, planning, and financing, but with a close eye on the jobsite and budget.

Since 1999, Acordia Homes has been designing and building custom homes here in Colorado Springs and Northern El Paso county. We are a small service oriented low volume builder placing a high priority on customer satisfaction and the relationship between builder and client. When you build with us you get a senior level Project Manager who you can consider your personal construction concierge readily accessible to you and your guide and assistant through what can otherwise be a frustrating process. That Project Manager will also be a consistent presence on your job site ensuring that high level of satisfaction that everyone envisions when having their home built.
